Rebecca Meyer-Larson, Director
Rebecca Meyer-Larson has been an educator and a theater director for 24 years and is the artistic director and founder of ACT UP Theatre.
Rebecca has collaborated with many theater organizations including: Fargo-Moorhead Community Theatre, Trollwood Performing Arts School, Perpich Center for Arts Education, MN State Arts Board, Hennepin Theatre Trust, the American High School Theatre Festival, Minnesota State High School League, Music Theater Fargo-Moorhead (The Last Five Years), and masterclasses with Jason Robert Brown (13: A New Musical), Anthony Rapp and Adam Pascal (RENT).
Rebecca’s productions have been recognized for excellence by USA Today, Young Arts, Theater Live!, the Spotlight Musical Theater Awards, and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, where her productions have received multiple five star reviews. She is a two-time US Presidential Scholars Program award-winning teacher and a 4 diamond coach with the National Forensics League; however, her favorite creations are her children Sadie, Izzy, and Finn.
Penni Fike, Producer
Pennie Fike is a Fargo-Moorhead native who has spent the last 12 years in Art Administration. Previously, Pennie has served as an Associate Producer with Blue Man Productions (New York) and an Event Manager/Program Manager booking touring Broadway shows with Jam Theatricals (Chicago). Pennie is currently the Co-Director of Events at Jade Presents, working closely with concerts, events and festivals in the Upper Midwest.
Annie Bakken, Vocal Director
Annie (Bakken) Richards is a proud member of the FM arts scene. She has worked with Moorhead High School, Trollwood Performing Arts School, the Fargo-Moorhead Community Theatre, Richland Area Schools, Act Up Theatre and spent a fabulous summer touring with Missoula Children’s Theatre. Favorite productions include Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamboat (Richland), Violet (Moorhead), Rent (Act Up Theatre), 25th Annual…(Moorhead) and her starring role as the “Water Merchant” in Prairie Fire Theatre’s production of Alladin (spelling intentional). Annie would like to send some love and gratitude out to the tribe, the vocal triad, Lee and little Rosie.

Jordan Green, Lighting Designer
Jordan Green is a theatrical lighting designer and live event designer based in Fargo, ND. He has a B.A. in Theatre Art from Concordia College and an M.F.A. in Technical Theatre from Minnesota State University, Mankato. He is a Technical Director and Lighting Designer for Livewire Entertainment Media Services, LLC, where he designs events ranging from small meetings to TEDxFargo. He also has worked as a freelance lighting designer with various companies including Theatre B, Moorhead High School, Music Theatre Fargo Moorhead, Tin Roof Theatre, and The Straw Hat Players. This will be Jordan’s 5th season with Act Up Theatre, having designed lights for Rent, Spring Awakening, Bare: A Pop Opera, and Next to Normal. He is excited to design on the stage of the Frances Frazier Comstock Theatre where he got his start with Concordia College.
